That "I ...Just popped over and read your post. That "I wouldn't do it but" comment also drives me batty, but I think people are just trying to be compassionate. Unfortunately there is no perfect pro-life solution, because people's hearts and minds change in different ways. I was led to be pro-life through thinking logically about what being "pro-choice" would really mean, but also through a life-time of experiences, not the least of which was holding a premie baby in the hospital. That's why it's important for pro-lifers to use all our gifts, whether it's logic or feeding the hungry or being a listener or becoming a doctor.
