So sad to see infighting among such influentail Catholics. So incrediby sad. It created a HUGE dilemma for me in my work. Had planned on giving one of the person's books to a bunch of seminarians at our local seminary, but didn't plan to give a copy of the other's famous talk because I figured the seminarians had access to that person at the Seminary. But then, I didn't want to be seen as taking sides in this whole ordeal, so I dug out enough copies of the talk to hand out too. Ugh, so much ugh.
Gretchen Menahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06004160195445514822noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7902332526058821592.post-60318404048024672312017-02-24T11:30:44.344-08:002017-02-24T11:30:44.344-08:00Wowzers. Do you feel like so much is going on its hard to keep up!?
Yup Apple has my heart too.

I'm curious what you are referring too in #4 (again I think sometimes I live under a rock, lol!) but don't wanna open Pandora's box.

Reading that link you posted about our own sin is SUCH a reality check for my own sin, yikes!Pattyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05900413545108321127noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7902332526058821592.post-56889163712663021102017-02-24T10:49:13.385-08:002017-02-24T10:49:13.385-08:00Okay, on the weather: I really like my seasons, an...Okay, on the weather: I really like my seasons, and I've always loved getting bundled up to play in the snow. But now that I have a baby, I've discovered that it's less fun to get all bundled up, since it requires bundling him up and ensuring that he'll be nice and warm while we frolic. I've also decided that I love 60 and 70 degree days in the "winter," because it just lifts the overall mood. So, all things considered, I am more than okay with the beautifully gorgeous weather that we've been having in Oklahoma.

I totally missed whatever scandal happened (and I'm okay with missing it), but that makes me think of how sad it is when Catholics (well, anyone, really) just think that they can type whatever insults they want because it doesn't seem as bad as saying something to a person's face! It makes me and my husband crazy.

I AM SO EXCITED THAT YOU CAN ENJOY COFFEE!!!!!!! That is such a tremendous gift. Like, I am so, so happy for you. When I was pregnant with my lil' guy, I was overjoyed when I finally reached the point that I could enjoy coffee while pregnant (initially, even thinking about coffee made me nauseous. It was misery). AnneMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13462442204217572325noreply@blogger.com
